I’ve worked in travel for nearly 8 years, it’s always been a passion for me, and I couldn’t imagine ever doing anything different! I started off working as a travel agent in a retail TUI store for a few years and worked up to retail assistant manager before then taking to the skies as cabin crew where I got to explore a lot more of the world. I started off on short haul flying out of Bournemouth, before moving to Gatwick to do short and long haul. My favourite destination I visited as crew was Costa Rica, and I’ve been there twice so far (probably the only place I would visit more than once!).

After a few years in the skies, I then joined Not Just Travel in November 2018, first working in sales before then moving to marketing where I’ve been ever since. Travelling has always been a part of my life; I firmly believe life isn’t meant to be lived in one place and I plan to explore as much of the world as I can. There’s nothing I love more than writing and talking about the places I’ve been and the experiences I’ve had, I’ve always got the travel bug and can’t wait to explore the next place.

I’ve been extremely lucky with the destinations I’ve visited, one of the most amazing trips was definitely being a part of the NJT Charity Trek where we spent 5 days in the Colombian jungle trekking to the Lost City ( you can hear all about it on our podcast!) It’s something I will genuinely remember for the rest of my life, and tell everyone I can about it. I’ve done all sorts of holiday types from all-inclusive relaxing beach holidays, skiing, sightseeing, cruise, adventure and city breaks!

I definitely love an adventure holiday, one of my favourites so far has been Costa Rica as I went white water rafting, zip wiring over the canyon and hiking around a volcano. I’m a real adrenaline junkie so I always love to try new things. Last October I was a part of the NJT Charity Trek which saw 50 of us trek to The Lost City in the Colombian Jungle and it was incredible! Although I do love to have a good beach day or two to break it up and catch a tan! I also always try to go somewhere new every time, I don’t like going back to the same places, I want to immerse myself in new cultures and try new experiences.
