About Cedric:

I am a proud Barbadian who spent the first thirty years of my life on arguably one of, if not the best island, and with the friendliest people on planet earth. I  moved to London in February in 1997 and began a journey with Barbados Tourism Authority(as it was known at the time) where I first took up the post of Information Officer, before working my way up through the ranks to Business Development Officer in our recent transition to Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc.

With the island’s motto being ‘Pride and Industry’, it has been a pleasure to represent and promote the land of my birth throughout the UK with great patriotism, and my steadfast belief is that no one can passionately sell the true ‘Bajan Experience’ like a local could. I consider myself very lucky to have such a job(as I’m reminded regularly by the travel agent community especially), which affords me the opportunity to travel the length and breadth of this country educating and encouraging potential travel to ‘ ‘Paradise That’s Affordable’(a phrase coined by one of my lucky agents at the end of a Fam Trip to Barbados).

Some twenty three plus year later, the tourism fire still burns in me and I continue count my years in the experiences gained through the various niches markets, watching the island evolve as a destination over time and more importantly, the many happy faces and testimonies told on return from the island, after a most enjoyable holiday.
